Court rejects class action regarding FEMA trailers

A federal district judge in Louisiana has declined to certify a class action in a case brought by hundreds of plaintiffs who claim they were exposed to high levels of potentially toxic formaldehyde in the trailers that FEMA issued for their use following Hurricanes Katrina and Rita in 2005. The suits name as defendants the federal government and some trailer manufacturers.
