Entire pistachio crop recalled
According to a New York Times report, the second-largest pistachio processor is recalling its entire corp after the Obama administration issued a stern warning to food processors that unsafe manufacturing practices must stop. The recall followed a week of bad news for Setton Pistachio when tests at its plant found salmonella contamination and lax sanitary measures.
